The 4-star Hotel Messerschmitt Bamberg is located in the city center at Schönleinsplatz. From 1832 the parental home of the aircraft pioneer Willy Messerschmitt was family-owned. As a wine house, it has become an institution in Bamberg.

Federal presidents, chancellors, members of the nobility, church dignitaries and celebrities of the past and present can be found in the guest books. Since October 2020, the historic part of the building with the restaurant is also owned by the foundation.
